I would think less that normies would believe crap coming from MSNBC and more they would have confusion. Firing up the spin cycle and counter narrative muddies the waters so it looks like 2 partisan sides just pointing fingers at each other. Either way it's just like you said, it's an attempt to hide the truth.

Frankly I'm stunned that even normies would believe the garbage "news" out there. And maybe we are starting to see cracks in the dam? My folks used to watch TV news all day and they are starting to question the garbage being fed to them.
