Because Trump has ethics. You cannot use the Ring of Power. It was forged in evil, and nothing good can come from it.
Because if goes against the principle of Innocent until proven Guilty.
Trump prefers to reveal the truth for all to see. It takes longer, but it is the Christian thing to do.
We cannot allow presidents to become tyrants.

Unfortunately the but the children argument is not valid for allowing a president to just lock up whomever.
We certainly have to look after our children, and I believe this involves home schooling so that children are not left to wander the streets alone. Another tactic is to have multiple children, so that they can move around the street in a group. Any visits to public events, need TWO parents present to keep an eagle eye on them. Single moms are at a disadvantage for this, because they have to work, so their children are endangered IMO. They will need help from relatives, to either educate or babysit. It is a problem, but that problem needs OUR participation, not the giving of tyrannical powers to kings.
Agreed. It will be very dishonorable to use children as a vehicle and an excuse to perform tyranny.
Many a tyrant and dictator (including the Deep State) used children to emotionally manipulate their populations into supporting their tyranny, even if it will harm children in the long run. Do not let your beliefs regarding children blind you from overall strategy.
