The Founding Fathers of the USA, did not create a free country, where income was not taxed,
Just so that country would reverse itself, and start taxing the incomes of supposedly free people.

The 16th amendment to the US Constitution reads as follows:
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

The passage of the 16th amendment, as you can imagine, was not without controversy.
Supposedly, the required number of states did NOT ratify the amendment, thus the proposed amendment never became a legitimate part of the US constitution.
do you think if the 16th amendment was proposed in 2023, that it would pass in enough of the States?
Just like some states require teachers unions to "re-certify" every so often, to see if they still have the popular support of the teachers,
the USA itself ought to have to "re-certify" every so often, to see if they still have the popular support of the people.
if it doesn't get over 50% of the eligible voters to vote yes, the USA ceases to officially represent the people.
this idea that the USA, or any union, is "indivisible" is just what the owners tell the slaves.
you can't leave the plantation.
just ask the southern states, who tried to leave the union, what happened to them.
the difference between a religion, and a cult, is what happens when you try to leave.
But taxation is just one branch of evil...

Here's the thing about USURY, or what we call "compound interest"
if you have an interest rate anywhere above ZERO, even just 0.000001% interest,
it will eventually "go asymptote",

and we are pretty much at the point, where the entire USURY system is ready to collapse.
why?
because right now, the income taxes that are being collected, from the LABOR of hard working, God-fearing Americans,
are not enough to cover THE INTEREST PAYMENTS on the national debt.

so, when the "Federal Reserve Note" finally collapses,
we have to be prepared with "alternative currencies"
and there are entire encyclopedias full of examples of alternative currencies,
but one in particular, called "Colonial Script", seemed intriguing to me.
according to Ben Franklin, the outlawing of Colonial Script was was really sparked the Revolutionary War.

Great post. Something you can add. Even after the unratified 16th, it was sold to the politicians and public as a "wealth tax" only. Less than 5% of the population paid "income" taxes from 1914-1941. It wasn't until the WWII "Victory Tax" where all American's patriotic duties were taken advantage of, causing all wage-earners to pay 10% of their "wages" to support the war. In 1946, no politician or gubmint official made any announcement one way or the other as to whether the "victory tax" was to continue or not, so the people just kept voluntarily paying it until Title 26 was officially enacted in 1954 - resembling what we're all familiar with today as "the income tax code (brackets)".
It seems few people realize this little tidbit. Everyone thinks the masses started paying taxes in 1914, but in reality, the frog was slowly boiled for nearly 28 years (a generation) before what we now know of as "income tax" on individual wages.

I think it's triply sinister that they counted on the hard-working American's inherent trusting nature and strong sense of patriotism to support the war they deliberately started in the first place.
Take careful note too that they've been running the same ploy in recent years as well regarding capital gains taxes that presumably qill only effect "the rich", as well as California's proposed state income tax legislation targeting "the rich" at first, who are fleeing in droves which will one day require California to hike taxes on everybody to make up for those "evil rich people who fled due to their unbridled greed".
And to think only fictional entities, aka "corp-orations" (e.g. JOHN QUINCY ADAMS) actually have an "income", whereas men and women (e.g. John/Jane Quincy Adams) earn a "wage". One is LEGALLY a "Taxpayer", the other has to voluntary admit they're one, when they're really not. That's a whole different rabbit hole few are comfortable diving into as it requires educating oneself and learning how to stand your ground. In other words, having some BIG kajones!!!
