A school district in Colorado hired a self-proclaimed “genderqueer shapeshifter” and “witch” to conduct staff training on “transgender” issues.
According to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from Parents Defending Education (PDE), the Thompson School District hired Silen Wellington, a “transgender” activist, to conduct the training.
While specific information on the presentation was not provided, as the district was “not in possession of any materials,” it did include information on topics to be discussed.
“This training includes information about different identities, the importance of language, and how to be a better ally,” the agenda for the training states. “If you’re curious about LGBTQ+ topics, have some questions that you’ve always wanted to ask, or wish to learn what all the letters mean, this training is for you.”
Language and statistics on “LGBTQ+ youth suicidality” were on the agenda, as well as “ways to be inclusive of non-heterosexual orientations.”
The training would also cover “sex assigned at birth vs. gender identity vs. gender expression” and “defining words such as: dysphoria, dead name, transitioning, intersex, asexual, aromatic, Two-Spirit, queer, nonbinary,” as well as something called “neopronouns.”
According to the Epoch Times, Wellington practices witchcraft, blood rituals, “magical activism,” and polyamorous relationships.
“Time and time again we continue to see ideological agendas permeating the curriculum in our schools,” PDE community engagement director Mailyn Salabarria. “It is inconceivable and a gross misuse of taxpayer’s monies that Thompson School District allowed a known transgender activist to train staff members on the implementation of politically driven social justice topics into everyday teachings throughout our children’s classrooms.”
Public schools are child abuse. People say, "Well, in my situation, I have no option." I can empathize, but that doesn't change the fact of the abuse. If little Johnny was coming home from school with pieces of his body cut off daily, the parents would likely decide that they just have to bite the bullet and find an alternative to public school. Since it's small chunks of little Johnny's soul being cut out, the parents decide it's a price they are willing to pay.
Well stated!
HOME SCHOOL.
Hire someone or with other parents. They're in the same situation.
Stay home if you can afford it. Teach them after work.
If there's no other options, it's even better for them not to have any schooling and stay home rather than communist, queer doctrine from public school.
This solution is so good, that it's illegal in most states.
Amen to that — I tell every woman I know— stay home with your kids ( or daddy or grandma/grandpa— someone that has a heartfelt attachment to them) until they are at least in middle school ( cause then you’ve instilled a lot of knowledge and values no one can steal ) daycare is the worse thing to happen to children— minimum wage staff who have zero investment in your kid — from that to “preschool “ to school to multiple after school activities “soccer at four??!!” What happened to watching tv as a family— picnics on Sunday— Sunday drives as a family— I managed to do all this with my kids — but to do it one parent HAS to stay home — which means you have a small house/ cook everything from fresh/ go nowhere but outside in the yard to play with the dog ( I did buy Nintendo but new game was once a year as Christmas present ) I can say I have two happy/ healthy/ frugal/ high paid adult children ( there’s a lot of value to riding your bike home at lunch — small town allowed it back then—to chop wood with axe ( unsupervised at 10 cause you knew not to cut your leg off) to feed the fire in the fireplace which was the only source of heat all winter— Kids are valuable— value them and not your stuff— they’re worth every sacrifice!
I’m soo glad my kids are grown— that said I moved into a tiny Texas ISD when my kid was starting 1st grade — county judge told me If I didn’t run for school board and help clean it up after presumed win he’d shut it down— I won easily and hired new superintendent/ a lot of new teachers ( personally interviewed each one) and we turned it around— learned a lot about the education system in a microcosm believe me ( btw I’d didn’t know the county judge— he sought me out because I was new to the community and a perceived conservative professional)
