This is one of the most heartbreaking, yet most impactful interviews/news conferences I have ever seen. At first I was confused...guy/girl...who was this. As I went on and understood this was a woman that transitioned to a man and he/she is speaking out againt the pitfalls of transitioning. Such wisdom from this person is unbelievable. My takeaways...
He/she said of being a woman..."I was perfect just as I was"
Also..."There is no ONE way to be a woman and there is no ONE way to be a man"
I always believed that the most vulnerable in our society were being impacted by this ludicrous push that whatever God has ordained can be medically changed either with surgery, hormones, etc. This should be shared near and far...it is from the horse's mouth...someone that has been there...done that. This is a reminder that these people are human beings, they are being victimized and they need us to stand up against these hospitals and drugs companies and say "enough is enough."
I have respect for this person...knowing the courage it takes to speak out for the good of humanity. His call is that the journalists investigate this with an open mind and to expose this travesty. Obviously, everyone will be called a bigot...but this person is pleading for help in shutting this down...protecting our children and our most vulnerable people against these lies and coercion.
Excellent...excellent...excellent...thank you for posting.....
Yes...I agree...convoluted but I usually say he/she/it and showed her respect by dropping the it and recognizing the her that is who she is but giving the him that she tried to be some respect for her sake...albeit a lie...do you feel the immense pain of one of the worse mistakes you could have ever made?
I understand what you are saying but I do respect this person despite their mistakes. Obviously I am not speaking about anyone else here...just this one person...
No, she was mentally ill and institutions took advantage of her to destroy her body. She made a mistake & now realizes it & that is great. Her existing & now talking out about how she was manipulated is now doing a lot of good for humanity.

It was, and will always be, a she.
