Kim Dotcom is trolling us. He has been for years.

Look at the timeline of Assange's past 13 years.

• In 2010 he leaks some US Military docs.
• In November of 2010, Sweden issues a European arrest warrant for some sexual assault charges (probably false, but I don't really know for sure)
• In June of 2012 he loses his appeal of the extradition to Sweden and holes himself up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. Ecuador grants him asylum a few months later.
• In 2019 Sweden drops their charges, and in April of 2019 the Ecuadorian embassy invites the police in to arrest Assange. Assange is charged with fleeing while on bail, and sentenced to 50 weeks in a maximum security prison in the UK.
• Surprise surprise, in May of 2019 the US unveils new charges against Assange and want him extradited.
• In July of 2022, Assange appeals the extradition

At no point in this story does Assange have unfettered access to his company or the secrets they hold. He was under constant surveillance for at least 10 years if not longer. He's been in a maximum security prison since 2019, and before that he was hiding out in the Ecuadorian embassy for 7 years.

The idea that he knows the real details behind the Ukraine war, COVID-19, and the Nordstream pipeline is absurd. I sincerely doubt way back in 2010 he had access to a document that said, "Russia engages in conflict with Ukraine in 2022, COVID comes out in 2019, and the Nordstream pipeline gets attacked in 2022.” And I sincerely doubt anyone would have been able to pass him that information since his time in the Ecuadorian embassy, and certainly not while he was imprisoned.

He may have found some deep secrets from 2010, and they may still be relevant today. But I can't believe he knows the details of current events as implied by Kim Dotcom.
