I pay all my in-store purchase with cash. Also pay with cash to fill my car. Sme local businesses (like my car mechanic shop) give a discount for using cash. So I withdraw some cash every week from an ATM. It's become a habit now.

Yeah, when you literally count your change, it's brings reality into play.
I use CC that give cash back for our bills... Cash would actually cost more. Getting 2% back on Utilities 3%-5% On Groceries. Rent (Our biggest bill) is cash.
Sounds like a good plan. The more we can use cash, the more we put off the digital currency.
If they can afford to give you money back, it's because they're making more than that from the merchants. Wise merchants discount for cash payers.
