There was a post a while back that calculated the amount of oil/water required to produce 1kg of protein, comparing meat vs. plant based proteins.
Does anybody have that calculation post?

plot twist: non feed-lot beef graze on grass.
Non-Feedlot beef tastes crappy. I lived in the Philippines for 3 years and the cows graze on just about any plant available.
I raised grassfed beef myself. The cows ate just grass- not any plant available. It was delectable.It's important to rotationally graze, so the soil and grass continue to regenerate well.
