There was a post a while back that calculated the amount of oil/water required to produce 1kg of protein, comparing meat vs. plant based proteins.
Does anybody have that calculation post?

It takes 10 lbs of corn to feed a family for a week in Africa That same 10 lbs will create a pound of beef
This is how libs guilt you into eating corn instead of meat.
I’m allergic to corn
plot twist: non feed-lot beef graze on grass.
Non-Feedlot beef tastes crappy. I lived in the Philippines for 3 years and the cows graze on just about any plant available.
I raised grassfed beef myself. The cows ate just grass- not any plant available. It was delectable. It's important to rotationally graze, so the soil and grass continue to regenerate well.
You just don’t remember what real beef tastes like. I haven’t had a decent cut of store bought beef in about a decade.
In the Philippines the farmers typically have a cow or two and they move them in the morning and evenings. They are subsistence farmers who grow the cattle as a cash crop that requires them to not buy any feed. They don't have grassy fields, they have jungle.
true, but are cows supposed to have all that corn?
and devils advocate...what about the packing houses? blood being spilled in One small area...sounds like a ritual to me. bet many are on ley lines, etc.
I understand people need/want meat, but don't think it should be processed the way it is. we're not being good stewards of the land and animals.
