Head fake and they all fall for it over and over again. They think he's stupid, like us regular Americans, and he's 5 steps ahead of the deep state every time. This is a movie and I'm enjoying every moment.
Lately he’s been tripping over himself, so maybe only two steps now
yes, many people in Iowa/surrounding RED states are education focused/love school & Iowa is the first to vote/caucus, he wants their vote. Iowa was #1 in the nation but the scores have went down...and the colleges used to be very popular for teachers, but of course they're getting worse too.
*also, it shows he understands the state/did his homework, they notice that/makes an impression.
