Just had a call from my daughter Alice whose husband died suddenly in October. She is grief stricken and wants him back. All I can do is comfort her and lift her up in prayer, and hope the Lord will make His presence known and lead her back. She lost her faith when she went to college - time she returned.
The more you love the harder the pain of losing someone; I still cry for David. May the Lord strengthen and comfort her and bring her through this. She is coming for a visit so I'll see her on Sunday after a 9 month absence. Never expected her to be widowed at such a young age. Sad times.
I am so glad you are able to visit with your daughter...I pray that you both will have blessed time together...I know how difficult it was to lose her husband...the death of young people in their prime has been the hardest...we have 2 such people and there is just no way to reconcile that loss.
I pray that you can witness in such a way to restore her faith...that ultimately is the only thing we have of eternal value...I know you will love her unconditionally...and that really is all that any of us want or need. I pray for safe travels and a wonderful time of mother daughter joyful reunion. God bless you and your family richly... ...
Thank you so much.
