Just had a call from my daughter Alice whose husband died suddenly in October. She is grief stricken and wants him back. All I can do is comfort her and lift her up in prayer, and hope the Lord will make His presence known and lead her back. She lost her faith when she went to college - time she returned.
The more you love the harder the pain of losing someone; I still cry for David. May the Lord strengthen and comfort her and bring her through this. She is coming for a visit so I'll see her on Sunday after a 9 month absence. Never expected her to be widowed at such a young age. Sad times.
Thanks, you probably need prayers as well. May your heart be healed, may sorrow pass, may you look back at all the good things you shared. I stay strong by remembering all the funny things. My abiding memory is of him running up a very high airport escalator like Superman with two huge suitcases to get in the passport control line.
People we loved will always live on in our hearts.
Yes! I never thought I'd miss him so much. You think you will deal fine - I accept death as part of this life - but the huge hole after 31 years - its much bigger and deeper than I ever realized. Prayers for your daughter and you also
Yes, the strength of my feelings and sadness took me by surprise. David cared for me more than my own family and husband ever did. He was my Boaz, so kind.
I pray for all of you guys.
With much, sincere love.

Thank you.
