What’s the name of the site that lets you buy stock that you actually own regardless of is the broker goes under or not?

Not even sure I’n saying it right. Been mentioned here many times before I just can’t remember.

Depends on which stock you want. If you want GameStop, it is Computershare. They als o handle some other stocks like apple. If you already own the stock thru a broker like Fidelity, they will transfer it for free, not all brokers do it for free.
