How about shut it down for one week and redevelop it to be it’s original form? Before the algorithm? There is no need for an algorithm if you are a platform. The only reason you would need an algorithm is to censor therefore if you need an algorithm then you are a publisher. You do not get the protections afforded to you by the 1st amendment.
I am not sure they can even tell what the original form was from looking at it's present form. I picture it like a small start up company I worked for briefly where they just added more code on to what was already there for each new client. Code on top of code on top of code. Think of a Dr. Seuss village where the houses are built like that on top of one another and hanging out toppling over each other and over the streets. That's what I imagine their censoring algorithms doing. These people were lazy and in a hurry so they built a monster behemoth just adding to it and never looking back.

A week to re-develop the whole thing? Make it at least 6 months (especially considering the scaling)
