There’s this drug Wegovy used for weight lost. It’s an injection. It works. Yesterday daughter, who pays out of pocket for it, was in with her Doctor for a follow up appt discussing her progress with this drug and conversation turned to how expensive it was, and how it’s hard to get insurance coverage for it. (Only certain insurance will pay for it and only when a person is substantially overweight.) The doctor told her drug was expensive because the medical industry doesn’t want people being able to afford it and losing weight as there is more profit in over weight, unhealthy people.

Not sure, but it’s definitely helped my daughter lose the 20 pounds she needed too. She’s also noticed her blood pressure dropped to better levels with the weight lose. I told her losing weight helps in many health issues.
If she gets her vitamin D levels up to over 50 (60+) she will lose weight. Also NAC helps with blood pressure. I do intermittent fasting...only eat in an 8 hour window and then only drink water for the other 16 hours...that works well to cleanse and repair the body and to lose some weight in the process...I feel better at 71 than I did at 50 or 60...and I just got a clean bill of health so it all seems to be working...I really love intermittent fasting...
Was at UofM getting a pet scan for my husband and ran into a woman that swears by intermittent fasting. I guess I need to look into it
Fasting is a great tool to let the body heal. Think of it as allowing your body to recycle what it has and to clear out toxins.
And if you are starting off try doing three meals per day in a short window or two meals of day in a longer window of time. Whatever you feel comfortable with and how your body reacts.
It doesn't dissolve anything. It reduces appetite and makes you feel full on less food.
