I was talking to my boss today, and he's majorly upset about this development. What really caught my attention was that he was mainly bemoaning the fact that some liberals that he knows will gloat about Trump's arrest! All I could say was, "WHO CARES what some dumb lefties think?!?!?"
So, here's the thing- If the Plan isn't what it seems and we fall into a dystopian nightmare, we lose. If all of it works out, we win. Regardless of the outcome, the liberals lose because they'll either be forced to join us in said dystopian nightmare, or Trump and the Plan are exonerated (even though in the end, they'd actually win, but we're speaking about their useless pride and the timelines here). I explained this to my boss, and he now sees things in a more positive, yet cautious light.
Frankly, I could not care less what anyone thinks about it, nor do I give two shits about their gloating. All of that primal social human nonsense just distracts one from what's truly important.
As I think about this, even if they drop trying to arrest him, it's already given him a big boost. They have lost credibility and face just from even attempting this kind of stunt. Don't interrupt your enemy when they are making a huge mistake.
I see a plot here that is similar to the part of the storyline of Stars Wars Episode IV: A New Hope where Darth Vader strikes down Obi Won Kenobi and the rebel alliance then swoops in and destroys the Death Star.
