So, supposedly, they had a brief relationship in which she signed a non-disclosure agreement. However, Trump never signed it and still asserts there was no affair. However, she threatened legal action so Trump’s attorney just paid her to close it out, rather than drag it out. She then sued Trump anyway for defamation because he denied the affair. She lost that suit and the appeal and was ordered to pay all Trump’s legal fees. New York left has been trying to pin him with some kind of “hush money” crime for years. Several prosecutors already stated there was no crime and they refused to prosecute. This new guy is a rabid anti-Trump prosecutor and he is pushing it forward.
