Also, there is no proof, so no charges can be brought. So why would anyone in their right mind 'go down to the station'?

But, the AG is rabidly determined to 'get' Trump - on anything. It's already blowing up in his face as we speak. Now, the entire population is in an uproar over a fictitious scheme to arrest T. Because it IS fictitious.
