Man, can you imagine what his daily talk radio show would be like if he were to comment on these wild times? I bet he would be on fire every day and still have energy for an additional hour. The Lord took him home for some reason, probably to give the folks who are "up and comers" a chance to shine and become a leading force for good. With Rush as the Big Dog, those newer folks would only be able to stand in his shadow instead of creating a new shadow. I'm sad he's gone, but I certainly enjoy how the newbies have stepped up to the plate and are hitting home runs. Rush is gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Well said. My grandfather was a YUGE Rush fan, even named one of his German shepherds after the man. I had many fond memories listening to Rush on the radio with him when I was a kid. He sadly passed away this last October, and I smile to think he got to meet Rush in heaven. Chatting about all sorts of things and chumming it up. Miss you Grandpa. Your legacy will live on through me and all your grandchildren!
