Biden had to sign it, let it become law after 10 days (Tuesday), or veto it. A veto against unanimous passage in the House and Senate would be stupid, even for Ol' Joe, and letting it become law automatically would have made him appear even more weak.

xiden's back was against the wall on this one so he made a big todo about vetoing the bill that would have prevented the situation that is causing all the banks to fail....

Yet he yesterday he vetoed the bill protecting retirement accounts from ESG and tried to blame MTG for it.
