OK... The libs and lefties are saying two things at once, which they always do.

that previous cultures were all wrong (slavery, empire/colonies, morals, relationship values, etc)
that previous cultures should "inform modern society"

I hate lefties and liberals. They cherry pick everything that suits their purpose, which seems to want to destroy anything and everything that is Western in nature.
