Academia is in self-destruct mode.

Not sure what's going to replace it yet. I think that will depend on what people that want to teach skills and knowledge decide they want to do now.

I'm hoping "those that can do, and those that can't teach" becomes irrelevant as "those that can" become the teachers in the workforce. Or something to that effect.
