Dunno about that. Most AI generated imagery has something uncanny that is easily detectable, like the barrel on the right guy, or the fact that both right and left guy has the same face, or that middle guy has a weird third hand or doesn't have the instincts required to use their hands properly (middle finger on the trigger).

Improving, sure definitely. But everything has something you can point out.
