The donors behind Ron DeSantis for President in 2024 are now asking him to sit this one out, according to recent reports.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s donors and supporters are beginning to question if the potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate should run in the next election cycle — a bid that would put him against former President Donald Trump — or wait until 2028, according to reports.
According to a report from NBC News, donors and supporters of DeSantis are having second thoughts on the prospect of the governor’s potential presidential bid. Per the report, one main issue seems to be the governor’s ability to take Trump — who has been criticizing the governor for months — head-on. @mgshowchannel
I smell a set up. I was always curious why the swamp did not go after DeSantis if they saw him as a threat. He really did not seem to take any personal heat at all. If he was perceived by the swamp to be like a mini Trump, they would have gone after him using any means necessary. Also, the fact that big RINO donors jumped in to back him does not set well. He already is showing signs that he is being run by the establishment. They talked him into taking on Trump and he fell for it. We have played this bait and switch before - act like a Patriot and then fall in line with the swamp.
DeSantis always voted the uniparty neocon line while in Congress. I really worry that DeSantis has been nothing more than a another attempt, although it be long in the planning, to take Trump out. They overplayed their position and underestimated Trump and his supporters again.
