Turning to the community I trust the most here, with a question about video hosting. I have family in various parts of the world. I also have a young son. We have a lot of video footage of his various activities that family members want to see. I have the video files stored on a local drive and the ability to edit videos, I just need an online platform to share them. I was gonna go with YouTube as a private channel for family only via invite but I'd prefer to avoid the Google/YouTube machine for obvious reasons. Ideally a video platform where playlists can be created and everything is ad-free since the "channel" I'm hoping to create will be shared with a very non-techy audience (Baby boomer gen with extremely limited tech/computer savvy)
Any recommendations?
IMO Rumble is the next YouTube.
I second this.
They have their own servers.
thx fren. Yea I'm on rumble quite a bit and they definitely don't seem to censor like YT does.
Depending on how tech savy you are, why don't you consider setting up your own web server. An old pc, direct connect to your provider and web hosting app. You can design your own web page and make it as easy as you want for your family. And it will be mostly free.

Thx fren. I'll look into this.
I like Bitchute.
Hasn't let me down yet.
Here is one of mine.

Thanks for watching.
Bitchute is a good red pill site.
It does get overloaded sometimes.
Thx fren. And nice video!! Gave me some great caddyshack vibes. Wasn't there a concern about bitchute? I like bitchute too and am on there semi regularly but I thought the folks at bitchute even put something on their website that said some unknown forces were trying to pull the plug on them because bitchute was revealing too much truth, didn't censor per the MSM narrative or something like that...
I know this is old school, but in this case it may be appropriate.
Could you just burn the videos to a DVD or set of DVDs and then mail out to those who are interested? I know a lot of PCs don't have optical drives anymore, but if the recipients have DVD players on their TVs, that might still work for them.
May actually be a little easier (although more time consuming) than a shared web space but it has the advantage of being a helluva lot more secure than anything on the web.
Thx fren. Unfortunately none of the recipients have DVD players anymore. But some can moderately operate a computer and if given a short & simple web address they can figure out how to access and hit the play button.
