Safe deposit boxes are NOT safe. Lots of reasons, not just the article's reason of law enforcement suspecting you of something.

Just because you "rent" the space, doesn't mean it's really yours. There are countless stories of folks losing cash and precious metals forever.

Please find a better way/place frens.

Good recommendation. There are no federal laws governing the boxes. Bank can just pay client $1k (even value $10k to $100k) if they got robbed.
