Nah that's a pretty common optical illusion.

But I notice that you don't really have an answer for the standing player. There would naturally be some explanation for how the player knew to stay standing. Was he just compelled? Is he in on it? Why haven't you asked these questions?

Do you just accept it and not ask anything?
