DAMN, this is so true! About a week ago I went out to play music with a jam session I like to attend, and there was a guy there who, back in the covid-vaxx madness, had publically called me out for not being vaxx'ed. At the time I figured, Great, I won't have to put up with his bullshit anymore.
So at the jam recently he proudly showed me his tshirt that said, "ANTI-AUTHORITARIAN." I just laughed and said, "Sure, Bob, sure you are... you'd be the first to get into the cattle car and urge others to get in too."
Needless to say, that cemented his animosity toward me permanently.
Tellem: "This is a Jam Session, not a Jab Session."

thats the thing with these retards....they are incapable of self reflection.....and they always have this fake ideal version of themselves... Kudos to you for even still hanging out with him. I would never be able to stay in the same room as that person.
I value playing music over what Retard Bob thinks about me. It's one of my "happy places."
That's great! I've been trying to tolerate the vaxtards at my happy place for the last two years. I'm still harboring angry feelings about it all and I know that I'll never receive any apologies... any advice to shift my perspective to let it all go is appreciated.
I just focus on the positive reasons I'm there for and ignore the negative idiots. It may help that I'm an INTJ on the Myers-Briggs scale.

I have a similar place that I used to LOVE visiting, literally felt like a little slice of heaven on earth. Unfortunately the covid insanity ruined it for me. The owners of the establishment were very good friends, but they fell hard for the Rona BS. Many are STILL WEARING MASKS there. It's a long story with way too many hours of dialogue, but the bottom line is that I can never go back. My former friends showed their true Marxist colors and total allegiance to Jay Inslee and the totalitarian system. 😔
Well I must admit that I have a streak of obstinacy, so I've walked into the belly of the beast a lot in my lifetime.

Pride is a very tough thing. To me the real rebels are Christians and those who want truth and honor. All else are wimps and wanna bee tshirt wearers.
Here's the thing, WE are the new counterculture. All the old hippies of the 1960s and 70s have been emasculated and are now authoritarians... obey the government, listen to the CDC, trust the science. It happened gradually and they never noticed that their former "values" had disappeared, because they were never values to begin with.
They were really just looking for an easier, softer way. When the real test of their character came, they stood in line, rolled up their sleeves, and BEGGED to be jabbed.
The past 2 years has shown us in excruciating detail who can and cannot be trusted.
