Here come the calls to contact your Senators and Reps to vote no on this bill while we all perfectly well know they, as well as [they] will just vote it thru anyway. Two sides, same corrupt coin. Our voices no longer matter. Nothing's gonna change until The People (Normies and Anons alike) learn that WE have all the power and that it's time to exercise that power.
So, come get me when it's time to actually do something about it instead of cry foul every time a bill like this is presented for a vote. Because clearly, crying foul isn't working, if it ever did.
Edit: some of you here, including the mods, will say that I'm black pilling here. And that may be correct. HOWEVER, name one instance in the last 20+ years where contacting our Federal, or even State Legislators has actually done any good when presented with a bill that strips power and Liberty away from The People and I will gladly apologize.
I share your dismal point of view (I live in the state of Washington), but in honesty I think it fair to point out that various restrictions on the 2nd Amendment have been forestalled by massive and concerted uproar from the NRA and Gun Owners of America. And only a small portion of gun owners participate, which is a limitation on how effective this is. I think the public resistance needs to become as open and widespread as the protests in Canada and Europe...but I'm not holding my breath. The evidence is that even such a level of protest is largely impotent.
