I was with my family last weekend and we were discussing what the worst addictions were, and everyone mostly said various drugs.

Apart from cell phones I brought up how the one item that's in everyone's home, and stays in everyone's home till they die... a tv. Ever known someone to throw their only tv out? The internet is layered onto of tv, and is synergistic in its effects
