So the parents were right. I'm not sure this headline is saying what the newspaper intended for it to say. A rewording might make it clearer:
Shooter Audrey Hale’s parents knew she was deranged and mentally ill. No surprise then that after being egged on by a deranged and mentally ill culture, she did what it wanted (killed innocent people, especially Christians)
Playing Devil's advocate....there's nothing fantastically surprising about an angry woman discovering she's trapped in a man's body and deciding to take revenge on people of a faith shared by the family who disapprove of her on top of something she finds irreversible.
No one is a "woman trapped in a man's body". That's a myth, a cover story for underlying mental pathology.
Instead, he's a man who's telling himself a VICTIM STORY in which he IMAGINES he's a woman. And he's a victim of being trapped.
It's a psychotic delusion, nothing more, nothing less. Regardless of what weak-minded liberal "doctors" or "mental health professionals" may blather about it. Truth is still truth.
Just calling it what it is, is the first step toward mental health.

No. That is a deranged fantasy story.
