LNG, IS LIQUID NATURAL GAS. was not 65,000 tons of gold. Header is misleading. I read it as France buys 65000 tons of gold. Read carefully.
Uhhh... OP was saying buy gold because this is a terrible sign for the dollar.
While not a gold transaction, it’s a major U.S. “ally” moving away from the petrodollar.
This is the first drop in what will almost certainly be a flood of people moving away from the USD. This is important because the value of the USD is propped up by its status as a reserve currency. Gold and silver will likely skyrocket in demand (and price) as people look for for safe havens as the dollar collapses.
Buy gold and silver!
