For some reason, I thought that there was no exculpatory evidence required to be offered at grand jury - I know that there is no defense presented. It's all one-sided, it's just however the DA wants to paint things.
Did not know that. But it makes sense that the jury would go ahead with the indictment if the DA exempted the exculpatory evidence.
I had another thought that kind of runs in the same direction. That the indictment had already been made a week or two before today and they just released the information now.
