I love this. It's not about over population, it's never been about over population. That entire notion is predicated on a scarcity mindset, yet our world is abundant. Yet with all the modern advances in technology, things like food, water, resources theoretically should never be in low supply since it's an addition to the natural abundance of earth, but you'd be wise to notice that they are currently trying to remove earth's abundance from the equation. They mention global warming in the video and droughts/ lack of water... but what have we recently learned from California? Their water shortages have never been in relation to the climate, but refusal to make more water storage facilities. It's not "over population", the biggest detractor is how we collective treat our earth and its natural resources, we live in constant conflict with our environment rather than harmony.
Will over population ever become an issue? Probably. But I won't ever be the one, nor could I ever face that issue as I am not the kind of person to decide other people's fate/lives. If we do a better job to live in union with the earth rather than against it, we do ourselves a far greater service.
