I was just thinking... one of the points that Americans are so angry about is a lack of justice, especially for the elite.

What if Trump voluntarily surrenders, to show that he truly is one of us?

What would that look like? It would certainly be covered globally. And, the arrangement (thanks to the WH's) would be that he would be processed and arraigned and out on bail within an hour.

Is it possible that he would endear himself to even more Americans while having the spotlight on him?

Just as importantly the precedent would be set. It would almost be like one of those stupid social media challenges: I did the "surrender" ... now let's see who else is willing.

So many other crazy things have happened, this would not surprise me. And as the trial is conducted, and the evidence comes out, the charges are dropped. Another nothingburger, but he sure will have gained more followers.

And if this does come to pass, it's only because WH's are in total control. I do not believe for a minute that he would walk into the lion's den.
