It's funny how rapidly that movement splintered, and did so so viciously that it pushed a lot of gay people to the right because it's not that people so much had an issue with marriage in terms of the legal / spiritual side of it, but rather that marriage to a religious person means more, and is intended as the natural order of a male and a female -- something that the government has no real right to mandate or dictate.

So while people were more or less okay with things like a union of two dudes or two ladies insofar as the Constitutionality of not discriminating legally, they were forced to watch as they were attacked and their religion was perverted as people in their religions were forced to (or worse, willingly) marry them in traditional, religiously oriented marriages.

These people never learned how to stop pushing, because they were catered to in every aspect of their lives and trained to have no accountability, because it was always someone else's fault.

Just like with race, what we're witnessing is people being so tired of the trans agenda bullshit as science and religion is being perverted in every field to baby and affirm these people, at any cost no matter how devoid of logic or reality, that they're pushing back.
