Twitter icon changed to Doge (the tan wimpy-looking mutt)

I saw it happen this morning, and it is still the "Doge" icon... I have no idea what that might mean. Very strange.

I noticed the same thing. Yesterday I thought my original twitter had been reinstated because it let me log in. But then it asked me to disable two-factor authentication. When I tried to I kept getting the dog saying "oops", something didn't work and try again. But it never works.
