Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat

Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment

If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
I used to use Tylenol for pretty much what used to be inflammation in various parts of the body. Plently of things helped me instead. Nettle Tea is great anti-inflammatory, but things like garlic, natto, tart cherries etc and keeping my pH level atleast at 7.0 o above has significantly reduced muscle pains, etc.
Wow that's great info thank you.
What is natto? Do you drink tart cherrie juice or eat a certain amount each day? Cherries aren't always available in my area. How do you keep PH at your desired levels? Do you check PH daily?
I can normally tell when inflation is very bad. I'll drink detox teas. I'm building back up on Moringa and Turmeric dosage, haven't taken either long enough to tell a difference in inflammation. I started Moringa 11/22 and wasn't sure it was helpful for pain. It helped keep bowels very regular with in a week. I found out quickly just how much it helped pain. Joints in my ached and I couldn't open any bottles. With in a week of being back on my hands didn't have pain. I've keep nettle capsules in case of allergy flares. I'll have to get some tea. Ran out about a year ago and didn't replace it.
Not OP, but natto is fermented soybeans. Theyre somewhat of an aquired taste, but it does grow on you. You can find it at any asian grocery store in the freezer section.
That's interesting. I don't know of an Asian market in my area. That's of the disadvantages of rural living. For some reason, don't know why I got this in my head, I thought soybean was very bad for you. I truly thought it caused cancer. Maybe because soy is in every mass produced food and now it's showing up in natural body products. I figured it's over use is because it's a cheaper product than say coconut or sunflower oil. That's probably true. I was doing research for estrogen alternatives for post menopause and so many products has soy. During my research I came across Paula's Choice Phytoestrogen Elasticity Renewal Serum. The reviews are outstanding! After researching the main ingredient is soy. So I did a deep dive in soy safety and cancer. Turns out several experts, even natural lifestyle experts say soy prevents breast cancer. However it's the non toxic soy used in most Asian cultures. I doubt soy produced in America is non toxic.
