I keep hearing opiners talk about the efforts to make so and so "never be able to run for office again."
Doesn't that point right there to election rigging by rigging the slate of candidates the people choose from?
Oh dear. Maybe I shouldn't bring this can of worms up.
Ask Ron Paul. The republican party actually changed the rules to keep him off of the debate stage after his unprecedented and unexpected success in the early primaries.
I was just discussing this with my husband this evening. The Constitution is silent on any qualifications other than he/she must be 35, a natural born citizen, and have been a resident for at least 14 years.
Yeah, based on this, I think election rigging has been going on for quite some time now. Long before Trump came onto the scene.
Just watched a James O’Keefe video where he went in front of the courthouse undercover and talked to journalists and one assistant DA. He asked “so do you think this will keep Trump off the ballot in 2024?” And her answer was “no, there’s nothing that says a felon can’t run for any public office. It’s not even mentioned in the Constitution.”
