Mike Rowe is a giga Chad! I have a lot of respect for him, and I still love his show dirty jobs. Shed's light on the people who work in the dark with no recognition that their efforts are even worth the trouble. That's, IMO, why a lot of my generation and younger don't think about or want to do things like plumbers, HVAC, or any other type of blue collar job. It's not flashy enough for them and honestly there's a culture of looking down on people who do those sorts of jobs as "uneducated" or "too stupid to go to college". That's the vibe I always got at least. Truthfully a lot of my friends and my dad's friends who didn't go to college in favor of a blue collar jobs are some of the smartest people I know. Amazing problem solvers with a good head on their shoulders. Kudos to Mike!

Society tries to say everyone should go to college, but a lot of people are just not college material.
The trades pay a lot of money and are less stressful that some of the professional degree jobs.
