Pollycracker, do not blame this group for the disgusting culture rot. We are here to battle it. Many of us are speaking at school board meetings and standing up for these brave women and our girls. You are casting blame on the wrong people.
I think (and u/pollycracker correct me if I'm wrong) Polly used "we" in the sense of people in general, whereas those taking issue with her point are using "we" in the sense of we here on this board. In any event, Polly & we here are on the same team.

"We" means "we." If the OP meant a specific subgroup, s/he should have made it clear.
