Paul was a conspiracy theorist to the elite and Paul himself was an elite who turned to God.
Acts 26:24–And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. 25 But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.
Mocking is in our DNA. Only a few see this. I learned this in elementary school when the teachers allowed the kids to pick on the less fortunate children at recess. Herd mentality kicks in and only a very few will stand against it. This is when I learned i unfortunately have this insight—I always went against the mockers even if i did not like the kid they mocked. It was wrong—but the teachers allowed it. Why? I think it is human nature. Good and evil is human nature and we all have to make our own decisions. We need more to stand up against this—many more are.
