I had the same question. Where was everybody? Was this a hoax? Was this a drill with no one there? But, the alarm is blaring and the security lights are flashing, which apparently were triggered by the shooter's entrance to the school when she shot out the glass in the double layered glass front entry doors.

So, I had to surmise that all of the students were immediately locked behind closed doors somewhere.

I also wondered why the shooter was already on the ground (blurred out) when they rounded the corner to confront her, like she was already dead. Why was the dead shooter way over by the window in that large curved room? She should have been lurking right by the entry if she was lying in wait to shoot the officers. Much seems abnormal in what we've been shown.

Also - if everyone was locked in their classrooms, why didn't the shooter shoot out the door locks and shoot more people? It seems odd she only got the few that she did.

That's not Texas....it's Tennessee and the police department released all those body cams within a day of the shooting. Many were evacuated prior to law enforcement arrival.
