It is merely another earthly place, God's kingdom is not here on earth. We are called to be fishers of men, not keepers of ancient holy places. The holiest place in Christianity here on earth is within your heart, where God the spirit lives within you thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and your acceptance of His gift of salvation.

They claim this to be the location but you must remember Jerusalem was destroyed in 70AD and this is where they think it it. Just as they believe the Temple Mount to be the location of the actual temple. That mount was the Roman fort. Not the temple. The temple was in the city of David.
