I have a question on the secret service peops. The sign something saying they won’t tell secrets? How does that work with them being there?
They can be compelled to be a witness in court and be held in contempt 8f they refuse to answer. The 5th amendment does not apply.
As a bodyguard, you may overhear intimate details of the First Lady and President's life. You may hear private family discussions about their children, relatives, etc.
Just as you wouldn't want people talking in public, or to the papers about intimate details you share with your spouse; the INTENT was to provide protection, while allowing privacy.
And it's not a big secret that this privilege has been grossly abused.
