Budweiser was always a piss poor beer. Make your own or buy a craft beer, either will be more flavorful. Hopefully they will fire the woman who decided this move was a good idea. Never go back, move forward and find another unrelated company and help them find their niche. Budweiser would have done better advertising its beer as macho, and women like it too. Not that it is a good beer in the first place.
I was on a tour of a regional beer brand and the brew master said American beers lightened the flavor of their beers during WWII. This was because the men were overseas in the service and the women went to work in factories (ex. Rosie Riveter).. The beer brewers wanted to appeal to those women. They never changed back when the war ended and the servicemen came home.
