Smokey and the Bandit is such a classic. Made when movies just entertained with out an agenda. I believe those restrictions were because at the time Coors had a higher alcohol content. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm in North Carolina and went to high school 81-85, back then most teens drank way to much, not to mention we were underage. I went to a very small private school, the soccer team was going to a tournament in Virginia. I can't tell you how many times I heard the guys discussing bringing coors back. The drinking age was still 18 back then and the seniors bought the beer.
