It's peddling fear to go "OMG NUCLEAR WAR INCOMING" or to say "OMG NANOPARTICLES IN EVERYTHING SO WATCH YOUR BACK".

Watch what mr psyops guy? We already know all of this. You're just amplifying fear in the hope of getting some people to freak out and act out of emotion/go deeper into fear.
