An informal straw poll was taken at the Salt Lake County GOP organizing convention in March. DeSantis won 55% to Trump 45%.

Ted Cruz won the 2016 GOP primary.

This state (Utah) has an intense group of MAGA patriots but I do believe 95% of Utah voters walk around in a daze and the MAGA patriots are too few in number.
