They’re highly trained operators. Great for black ops. Sadly, they tend to be highly patriotic, so if they figure out the ethics on their black ops were shady, they need to go away.

I think they meant that as TPTB decide they need to get rid of them, as theyre a threat to the corruption, not that they think that personally.
I don't like traitors murdering patriots.
